Where We Began

In June 2018 Wasteless World was formed as a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide simple, rewarding, sustainable, and fun solutions to social and environmental issues with a key focus on the plastic pollution problem.

By the start of 2020, Wasteless World was getting ready to start building its first community-run recycling station in a small coastal town in Colombia. Unfortunately due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, the project was put on hold. During the lockdown, our founder Tom was stranded on an island off the Caribbean coast of Panama known as Bocas Del Toro. This area not only needed a system like the one he had planned, but also has a community calling for change.

“Inspiring mindful solutions in wasteful situations”

“If we have the ability to create a problem, we have the ability to solve it”

It’s time for change.

Some believe that Covid-19 is nature telling us that we need to change our ways, others believe it’s god, regardless of what you believe, extreme poverty doubled around the world in 2020. Never has it been so important to support the vulnerable INCLUDING the environment.

Bring a Waste-Less World to Your Community

We would rather share our ideas so that more communities can take control of their plastic waste, so our goal is to provide all information about the project as an online open-source, one fun way you can show your support is by subscribing to our Youtube channel and by following us on Facebook and Instagram.
